The Department of Managing the Credit System of Education
1. The Credit System Management Department is a structural unit of the university and was established based on the decision of the Council of the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports (hereinafter referred to as the "University") in October 2022.
2. The Credit System Management Department (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") is a structural unit of the university responsible for organizing academic activities based on the credit-module system, developing and improving curricula and course programs, ensuring transparency and openness in the educational process, integrating international standards into the education system, preventing bureaucratic barriers, and forming analytical data to optimize decision-making processes.
The Department consists of one head of the department, two chief specialists, three leading specialists, and one dispatcher.
The Department operates within the Office Registrar Services Administration and is subordinate to the head of the Office Registrar Services Administration.
3. The Department operates in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education," decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions and orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University Charter, decisions of the University Council, orders of the Rector, and other regulatory documents.
4. The Department is managed by the Head of the Department, who is appointed and dismissed by the order of the University Rector in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The staffing schedule of the Department is approved by the University Rector based on the proposal of the Head of the Department, taking into account the conditions and specific features of the university's activities.
5. The department organizes re-studies of students with academic debts, calculates GPA scores, monitors student data in the HEMIS information system and updates the information system of the department, checks the completeness of the submitted documents, creates curricula for bachelor's and master's degrees, creates academic groups, enters qualification data, creates a database of subjects in the information system, keeps track of the movement of student contingents, and maintains statistics on student mastery indicators. Maintains personal files related to the Education Credit System Management Department in the unified interdepartmental electronic document flow system "Ijro.gov.uz". Differences in subjects in curricula or academic debts. Enters semester data of study programs in the section of educational areas. Creates control tables. Receives and registers applications, reviews and processes applications, advises students in difficult and controversial situations regarding the educational process.
6. The staff of the Department consists of specialists with appropriate education, professional training, qualifications and work experience. Their tasks and functions, rights and obligations are determined by these Regulations and job descriptions. The distribution of tasks among the employees of the Department is carried out by the Head of the Department in accordance with the staffing table and job descriptions. Employees are provided with the opportunity to improve their skills through participation in advanced training courses, seminars, trainings, and self-education. The rights necessary to perform the main tasks and functions of the Department are exercised in accordance with the job descriptions of the employees of the Department. This Regulation enters into force from the date of approval and is mandatory.
