Department history

     The Department of Science has been an integral part of higher education since its inception. Until 2011, the current department was based on 3 departments - master's, postgraduate and scientific. In 2011, the Master's Department was separated. Since 2012, all departments have been optimized as the Department of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel. Over the past 30 years, the university has trained more than 150 PhDs and more than 5 PhDs. During the years of independence, more than 20 innovative and more than 10 practical grants have been implemented within the framework of state scientific and technical programs. During the years of independence, Malikova Lobar, Boyturayev Toychiboy, Aripov Yunus worked in the scientific department.

Purpose of Department:

      Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and "On the National Program of Personnel Training", President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 2, 2017 No PP-2789 The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan , Resolutions of the Chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Decrees, Resolutions and Orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolutions and Orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolutions of the Board of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Charter of UzSPES and Along with ensuring the implementation of the decisions of the Council, the orders of the rector of UzSPES, the development of fundamental, applied and innovative research at the university, the implementation of state scientific and technical programs and priorities in science and technology, higher education, science and industry coordination of innovative cooperation between the two countries, the organization of research in priority, promising and advanced scientific areas.

Tasks of the department:

1) Development of annual and future plans of research work in the faculties and departments, scientific laboratories and departments of the University, the organization of their implementation, the provision of appropriate practical and methodological assistance, control over the preparation of reports in accordance with established procedures;

2) Development and implementation of strategies for admission to doctoral (DSc) and basic doctoral (PhD), staffing of faculties and departments;

3) Involvement of university scientists in research on the basis of foreign and state grants, economic contracts, application of scientific developments created in the departments to the national economy, innovation cooperation and active participation in fairs;

4) Develop plans for international, national and local scientific conferences and seminars with the participation of professors and talented students on the basis of the University and ensure their high level;

5) To coordinate the activities of student scientific circles, young scientists and student societies at the faculties and departments, to organize their effective work. Coordinate the involvement of young scientists and gifted students in funded research;

6) Develop and implement a plan for the publication of monographs, articles and conference proceedings based on the results of research;

7) Monitoring of the work carried out in the departments in the field of "Innovative corporate cooperation in higher education, science and industry".
