HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

V.S.Avanesov, a trainer, Associate Professor, physical education and sports officer who served in Uzbekistan, managed as a chief in 1964-1992; A.V.Pakov,  professor, candidate of Science, Associate Professor from 1992 to 1999; R.M.Matkarimov, professor candidate of science, associate professor, Honored coach of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 2000-2004; E. L. Kulkov, Honored Worker of culture, candidate of Science, Associate Professor in 2005-2008; R.M. Matkarimov, Professor, candidate of Science, Associate Professor in the Department of athletics, weightlifting, theory and methodology of cycling in 2007-2009; From 2009-2013, N. T. Tokhtaboev, professor, Doctor of science; in 2013-2018 M. S. Olimov, doctor of Science; in 2018-2019, R. M. Matkarimov, professor, at the Department of “Weightlifting, cycling, theory and methodology of equestrian sports”; In 2019-2020, Khodjayev Anvar Zakirovich, professor (Ph.D.) at the Department of “Weightlifting, cycling, theory and methodology of equestrian sports”; in 2020-2022 at the Department of “Weightlifting, cycling, theory and methodology of equestrian sports” Urazimbetov Tolmas Aytimbetovich. In 2022-2023, the department of “Theory and Methodology of Weightlifting” was headed by Tashturdiev Shukhrat Khurram ugli (PhD). Currently, the department is headed by Khakimov Hamro Bakhtiyorovich.

In the period from 1964 to 2019, 8 candidates of pedagogical sciences, 10 associate professors, 1 professor, 30 master’s students, 10 honored coaches of Uzbekistan, 11 judges of the international category, 3 honored masters of sports of Uzbekistan, 36 masters of sports of the international category, as well as champions and prize-winners of Asian and World championships as well as Olympiads, were trained at the department.

DEPARTMENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Ibadullayev Ibadulla Xasanovich was born on February 17, 1984, in Khiva city, Khorezm region. From 2002 to 2006, he was a student at the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports. He is an international referee in weightlifting, a sports master, an Uzbekistan champion, and has trained a number of Uzbekistan champions and prizewinners. In 2006, he worked as an educator at the Agricultural Vocational College in Khiva. In 2007, he became a coach at the Children's and Youth Sports School. In 2013, he was appointed as the director of the Children's and Youth Sports School. In 2017, he became the Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, and since 2018, he has been the director of the Khiva city Olympic and National Sports Specialized School-Internat.

Zoirov Djurabek Toshpulatovich was born on January 9, 1986, in Chirchiq city, Tashkent region. In 2008, he was a student at the Uzbekistan State Institute of Physical Education. From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a coach in the weightlifting department of the Chirchiq Olympic Reserve College. From 2006 to 2009, he was a coach in the same department. Between 2009 and 2019, he worked as a trainer-teacher in the weightlifting department of the Chirchiq Olympic Reserve College. From 2019 to 2020, he was a trainer-teacher in the weightlifting department of the Chirchiq Specialized Olympic Reserve School-Internat in Tashkent region. Since 2020, he has been working as a trainer-teacher in the weightlifting department of the Chirchiq Olympic Reserve College in Tashkent region.

Abdumalikov Baxrom Abduganiyevich was born on September 1, 1983, in Chinoz district, Tashkent region. From 2004 to 2008, he was a student (full-time) at the Uzbekistan State Institute of Physical Education. From 2008 to 2009, he worked as a coach at the Chirchiq Olympic Reserve College in Tashkent region. Between 2009 and 2019, he was a senior coach in the weightlifting department at the Republican Higher Sports Mastery School in combat sports. From 2019 to 2020, he served as the head coach-teacher of the weightlifting department at the Chirchiq Specialized Olympic Reserve School-Internat in Tashkent region. Since 2020, he has been the head coach-teacher of the weightlifting department at the Chirchiq Olympic Reserve College in Tashkent region.

Mirzadjanov Farxod Mirxamitovich was born on May 4, 1983, in Tashkent city. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a coach in basketball at the Children's and Youth Sports School. From 2010 to 2014, he was a student at the Uzbekistan State Institute of Physical Education. In 2010-2011, he worked with the weightlifting department of Uzbekistan "Yoshlik JTSJ" Tashkent regional council. Between 2011 and 2012, he was a coach in the weightlifting department at the Tashkent region IBO‘SM. From 2012 to 2016, he worked as a weightlifting coach. In 2016-2017, he served as a coach-teacher in the weightlifting department. In 2017, under the Tashkent regional Department of Physical Culture and Sports, he helped transform the Individual Sports School (IBO‘SM) into a specialized sports school. In 2018, he was appointed as a coach-teacher in the weightlifting department. From 2018 to 2024, he worked as a coach at the Republican Specialized Complex Children's and Youth Sports School under the Department of Physical Education and Sports-Wellness Work. Since 2024, he has been the head coach of the weightlifting department at the "Republican Specialized Complex Children's and Youth Sports School," a private educational institution.
