Pursuant to Resolution No. 376 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 14, 2023, “On Measures to Improve the System of Providing Student Housing in Higher Education Institutions,” as well as Order No. 269 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation dated July 30, 2024, and the University Rector’s Order No. 299-I/CH “On Implementing Measures to Provide University Students with Dormitory Accommodation,” the Directorate for the Management of Student Dormitories and Sports Facilities carries out its activities.
The Directorate’s main objectives are to ensure the efficient use of dormitories (TTJ) and sports facilities, maintain appropriate ethical and moral standards, create favorable conditions for students to live and engage in sports, organize large-scale sports events, conduct commercial activities aimed at providing socially significant services in the fields of physical education and sports, and guarantee the effective use of sports and health-improvement infrastructure for the benefit of university students and staff.
The University has three student dormitories. Dormitory No. 1 can accommodate 540 students, Dormitory No. 2 also has a capacity of 540, and Dormitory No. 3 can accommodate 1,060 students, for a total of 2,156 places. University students may submit an online application for dormitory accommodation via the MyGov.uz website. To process these applications and assign places in the dormitories, the Billing.edu.uz platform is utilized.
Currently, the Directorate for the Management of Student Dormitories and Sports Facilities is led by Director, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor K. Ziyadullayev, with chief specialists X. Kholmuratov and B. Janibekov, as well as marketing specialist S. Omonov also actively engaged in its operations.
