Uzbekistan intends to use China's expertise in the field of sports education development 

Currently on a business trip in China are the delegation's members, led by R. Matkarimov, the rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.

Partnership relations have been established between the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports and the Beijing Sports University of China. The delegation and R. Matkarimov held an official meeting with the leadership of the Beijing University of Sports. 

The two universities discussed several areas of cooperation during the meeting, including hiring qualified staff for positions in physical culture and sports, modernising the management system, bringing the educational process into compliance with international standards, advancing pedagogical and scientific potential, enhancing the calibre of research projects, transferring cutting-edge foreign sports and educational technologies, and planning future projects.

Following the formal meeting, they were introduced to the university's indoor sports facilities, which included areas of expertise for badminton, basketball, fencing, taekwondo, boxing, gymnastics, wrestling, swimming, and table tennis.

Following the meeting, the Beijing Sports University team indicated that they would be happy to share their expertise to help Uzbekistan's sports education sector grow.
