DEPARTMENT OF UZBEK AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The department of Uzbek and foreign languages was established in 1958. First, it was called the Department of Languages, and in 1991 it was named the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages. Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 21, 2019 No. PF-5850 "On measures to fundamentally increase the prestige and position of the Uzbek language as a state language", 2019 of the Cabinet of Ministers December 11, "Program of measures for 2019-2020 on expanding the use of the Uzbek language as a state language, supporting scientific research, improving the teaching methodology", University of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the order of the Minister of Secondary Special Education dated November 21, 2019 No. 87-04-2665 "On the establishment of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at the University", State Physical Education of Uzbekistan and according to the minutes of the 12th meeting of the Rector of the Sports University, the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at the University It started working from the 2020-2021 academic year. The department of Uzbek and foreign languages was established in 1958. First, it was called the Department of Languages, and in 1991 it was named the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages.

During the period of the department's operation, it was managed by candidates of science, associate professors L.P. Kremensov, M.U. Umarov, M.B. Finkelstein, B.S. Radjapov. From 2023 to the present, the department is headed by Doctor of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor N.N.Gaffarov.

Today, 23 professors and teachers are working in the department. Among them: head of the department, doctor of philological sciences (DSc), associate professor N.N.Gaffarov; one v.v.b. professor I.T. Baltayeva (PhD), two associate professors M.S. Aykhodjayeva, U.O.Azimova; six senior teachers I.S. Musayev, M. A. Rakhimova, N.M. Ibragimova, G.H. Abdumalikova, S.S. Mustafayeva, D.M. Fayziyeva, ten teachers Sh.B. Aliyeva G.T. Almatov, Kh.Kh. Djurayeva, S.R. Djalilova, S.Kh. Kenjayeva, M.A. Hayitova , N.A. Mustafayeva, J.J. Ismailov, L.T. Tursunbayeva, M.M. Azizova and the head of the cabinet O.A. Akbarovna are working.

There are 23 staffs in the department, of which 1 head of the department, 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 7 senior teachers, 12 teachers are working in the main staff.
