A STEP TOWARDS A GOAL

In our country, consistent measures are being taken to promote a healthy lifestyle, especially among young people, to create the necessary conditions and infrastructure for practicing winter and difficult sports, and to ensure the worthy participation of athletes in international sports arenas. In particular, by the decision of the Council of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports dated July 7, 2021, a new organizational structure of the university was approved. According to him, the number of faculties increased to 9, and the number of specialized departments - to 25. In particular, the department of theory and methodology of complex technical sports is one of the newly created departments in the structure of winter and complex technical sports.

At the Department of Theory and Methodology of Complex Technical Sports, it is planned to train specialists in 4 areas of sports (cycling, triathlon, biathlon and equestrian sports). Since the 2021/2022 academic year, 20 professors and teachers began to work at the department. 2 professors and teachers of the department are honored teachers of sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 9 are judges of the national category. Currently, 423 students are studying at the department. Among them there are 4 masters of sports of international class, 10 masters of sports, about 100 candidates for master of sports.

The learning process has begun at the Department of Theory and Methods of Complex Technical Sports, a master class (pedagogical lessons) was organized at the yesterday's classes. It was also attended by students of secondary school No. 13 of the city of Chirchik. This master class left a warm impression on the students.
