The leading scientists from around the world gave lectures on important topics in the field of sports 

A regional forum with the participation of the leaders of the CIS, Baltic and Georgian NOCs is currently being held in Tashkent. Within the framework of the forum, the world's leading scientists in the field of physical education and sports, academicians of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Platonov Vladimir Nikolaevich and President of the Ukrainian Olympic Academy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Bulatova Maria Mikhailovna spoke at the Uzbek State University of Physical Eduxation and Sports. lectured. 

First, the foreign guests were closely acquainted with all the facilities created for students at the university. The students will be impressed by the Palace of Culture, library, sports manege, boxing hall, university museum. 

The distinguished guests praised the work and changes taking place at the university and stressed the need to establish cooperation.

 Afterwards, the scholars delivered lectures for professors, doctoral students, independent researchers and masters on "Historical and cultural heritage of the Olympic Games, forms and content of Olympic education" and "Modern system of long-term training of highly qualified athletes." 

The audience was attended by more than 150 university professors, more than 60 doctoral students, independent researchers and talented masters, as well as more than 30 visiting sports coaches from Chirchik College of Olympic Reserve. At the end of the meeting, the rector of the university Mahmudjon Boltabaev awarded the guests the title of "Honorary Doctor of UzSPhESU" and souvenir.
