Today, the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports hosted an international scientific and practical conference in a hybrid format "Modern ways and solutions to popularize weightlifting sports in Uzbekistan" with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, vice-rectors of the University responsible for the Department of "Theory and Methodology of Weightlifting, Equestrian sports", young researchers, undergraduates and students, as well as a number of foreign specialists conference.
During the conference, presentations were presented on modern ways of popularizing weightlifting, scientific research in this field, as well as important issues of improving the mechanisms for evaluating training processes and athletes. Discussions were held on each presentation.
At the end of the conference, the participants were awarded special certificates.
