Cooperation with the World Taekwondo Federation Kukkiwon in Korea is being established

Another meeting of representatives of the delegation of the University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan in Korea was organized in Kukkiwon, the largest taekwondo federation in the world.

During the visit, representatives of our delegation, headed by Honorary Professor Baek Mun-Jong, got acquainted with the activities of the organization and talked with representatives of the federation. The parties also exchanged views on aspects of general cooperation, further development of the art and science of taekwondo in Uzbekistan, organizing competitions at the international level, and providing athletes with training materials related to the sport of Taekwondo.

For reference, Kukkiwon was founded in 1972 and its full name is the World Taekwondo Management Center. It defines the standards, rules and regulations of the sport of taekwondo. Today it has members in about 200 countries.
